This isn't exactly new and japan wasn't the first to come up with it. Do a google search for either "Poo Powder" or the "Pett toilet system". They're both marketed as military and camping supplies. The only thing japan seems to have done to it is make it more "urban friendly" if you can call it that...
i wish they would say when the best time to dropping ur pants in public and doing ur business would be... i wonder when someone would use that, cant even to begin to imagin
i hope all of u who critic this video understand japanese then posted. if not, just dumb.
i think its good idea. during the disaster that is not easy to go to bathroom whenever people want to. i understand why they made it. north part of japan was hit and destroyed by earthquake. and i bet they are still sensitive about it. cheer up japan!!
It's a great idea, you should see the all-face-shitted-up grounds on the free camping spots (not the payed ones) around the open air festivals... Imagine - you're on the sea coast, everything is FLAT, not a bush to hide, AND planty of people passing/pissing/pooping:) What's wrong with taking your shit in a bag and dropping it later in some much more proper place, like a trash bin? Still I wonder if the 'piss-harding' pills are enviromental - since the urine itself is OK, but what about the chemistry, they put into that liquid?
this takes public urination to a whole other level

ReplyDeleteWell they did have a huge natural disaster. These would be great in care packages to Africa and Indian slums.
