I watched this movie a couple weeks ago and its the best movie I've seen since Robo-Geisha. I can't believe it didn't win the Oscar for best foreign film of 2007. You can buy the US DVD of Machine Girl here
it's well worth it just to see someone's arm get battered and fried tempura style.

Anything by Noburo Iguchi is an awesome time. The only thing that surpasses watching them with friends is taking unsuspecting friends to see them in theaters.

I found this movie at Wal-Mart shortly after it was released in the United States. I was amazed that such a thing was in Wal-Mart, of all places, and proceeded to buy it immediately.
