We have loads of these places in Seattle. Blue C Sushi is the most popular. It's just a bunch of different sushi dishes going around and your price is calculated by the number of dishes and what color those dishes are, it's pretty good too! It's not really all that weird...
I'm guessing they decided to put it here because it's like the sushi's POV, not because the sushi conveyor belt itself is a weird thing. Still, not very WTF but more of interesting filming project / social experiment... almost foiled by the dishwasher. XD
They have one of those in Oklahoma.... So it's really not that weird.. They send around different kinds of sushi and label them on the plates..

It's called a Kaiten and surround the kitchen so the Chief can put meals on it. We have this type of restaurant in France since 2010
