  13. This is a pisstake of Dragonball-like animes as well as a subculture in Japan with it's members being called "Male Hosts" or something similar.

  15. It's illustrating a subculture in Japan. Whether parodic in nature or not I can't really tell. Easiest way to explain it is the male version of the Gankuro Girl subculture...but there are many variations that have grown from this, both for males and females. I don't think 'Male Hosts' is really accurate for the particular subculture portrayed here, but that IS a similar subculture within Japan as well as a job. The lines between many of them are often blurred too, especially depending on the individual. TL; DR version: They're showing the Japanese version of gangstas. Really, really spray-tanned gangstas.
