  3. why did you make me watch this?

  4. Okay, this must be a curveball. We're so used to bizarre shit that we're developing a tolerance for it and need something excessively normal and boring to ever get our WTF fix.

  9. WTF, WTFJAPAN.
You need to post the one where the J-chick folds a shirt with precision in 2 seconds.

  10. Did I just...spend three minutes watching a guy iron a shirt? 0_o

  11. Ok! This would be an awesome video, if it was a pretty chick and was naked. And less ironing!

  12. I just spent 3.06minuets of my life watching a man iron a shirt... I was really into it... I didnt feel cheated out of time... I didnt feel angry... I just watched the whole thing... And enjoyed it in a way i cant possibly explain... WHY?!?!?!

  13. If you thought "What" & "Why" then the website lives up to it's name.

  17. I love how japanese people seem to derive pleasure from performing seemingly mundane tasks with perfect precision. It looks like a nicely ironed shirt, but its not. It is perfectly ironed. This is probably why toyotas actually made in Japan (serial number begins with a J) have consistently higher resale values over those domestically manufactured.

  18. As much as I appreciate a job well done on even the simplest of chores...that hardly qualified as a WTF video. That was masterfully and artfully executed and filmed. For it to be on this site however, it really needed more tentacle rape or exploding kittens.

  19. I'm going to watch this the forth time now.

  20. well, i cant lie, i actually enjoyed that. I wasnt thinking "ummm whats going on? wheres the WTFery?" etc etc. This explains why asian people are always at the tailor/ dry cleaning shops. theyre experts at their craft (if you can call it that). It wasnt until towards the end when i noticed this: Did he put creases in the back from ironing the inside of the shirt? WTF?!

  25. I actually really loved watching this.
It was very calming to watch the man take such care in ironing the shirt. The Japanese can make anything beautiful, it's a part of the "wabi-sabi" of all things or in this case the beauty/perfection of something simple. Anything can be viewed as beautiful(/an art form) even if it's ironing a shirt.
