The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium is the second largest aquarium in the world. You're looking at a tank that holds almost two million gallons. This is amazing, hopefully one day this site will pay for my ticket.

    Whale sharks and manta rays? And I thought the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Outer Bay exhibit was the coolest thing going...

    Visually cool, but really not good in terms of animal welfare. I was actually involved in a movement in Singapore against importing whale sharks for an aquarium.

    I actually went here on a school field trip a couple years back. It was amazing! The aquarium has a lot more than just the tank, too. Plenty to do.
