I believe the point of it was to show how when one plays pachinko, there start with a single ball. when they first win more balls it's a bit of a surprise. then, ideally, it just sorta snowballs and next thing you know, you're really into it and you've got a ton of balls. so really this commercial makes plenty of sense, it just has that... ahem, unique japanese flare to it.
pachinko! I was totally unaware that we were being invaded by metallic aliens that can communicate with stereotypical Americans. I'll never go into the desert again, thanks Nicholas!
