  11. This is why I miss Mini Moni. They had some weird videos.

  12. Wow, most excellent. Shimura Ken playing his character "Baka Dono Sama". I hadn't seen this song yet. It's supposed to be odd, nonsensical even to the Japanese.

"Aiin" is a gesture / sound that his character makes and along with "dakun da" is another catch phrase.

Anyway, awesome find. WTF Japan, indeed? Ha!

  15. This brings back memories, I really miss Mini Moni.

If any of you liked this, check out the old school Morning Musume, or "W" videos.

The girls in this video are "Ai Kago, Nozomi Tsuji, Yamaguchi Mari, and Takahashi Ai."

They also made a movie called "Mini Moni the great cake adventure" that was jut as cracked out.

Some other songs: Jakenpyon, Telephone ring ring, lucky cha cha, and strawberry pie.

  16. This is what happens when you get a bunch of ADHD kids together and put them all on crack. Japanese music videos should have a warning at the beggining saying "This video may cause epilectic seasures"

  19. Actually the girl in this period of Minimoni was Mika from Hawaii. Ai Taksahashi wasn't in it till later when Mika went back to USA to study more about America.

I still miss this though :) This was my childhood XD

  24. Well... 3 minutes and 31 seconds of my life I won't get back...

  25. Ai Takahashi replaced Mari Yaguchi, not Mika (Mika stayed a member for the entirety of MiniMoni). If you listen close, you can hear them say their names after the verses.

  26. Is mind-rape illegal yet? It should be after this one.

  27. Aiin is a Japanese pop culture word for a fool/clown character in white makeup and Japanese gar. Usually, it's said while making a slicing motion under the chin and grimacing

^^^^^^ thats why they look retarded every other second but damn its a catchy song
